Qualifications for office: 21 years of age, Florida resident for 2 years, resident of represented district, registered voter

Term of office: Through remainder of current term (through November 5, 2002)

Term begins: Upon election

Qualifying period: 8 AM, June 7, 2001, through Noon, June 8, 2001

Qualifying fee: $1,583.28

Petition signature requirements: 596 (must be submitted to Supervisor of Elections by 5 PM on June 5, 2001 for certification by 5 PM on June 6, 2001)
