Early Voting

Last updated 6/18/08

Instead of voting at their polling place or requesting an absentee ballot, voters may take advantage of early voting. The early voting period is from the 15th day before to the second day before each election. Early voting is not available on Election Day or the day before. The Brevard County Supervisor of Elections Office will hold early voting during the following dates in 2008:

Early voting is available at the following locations: Identification requirements for early voting are the same as they are for voting at the polls. The following forms of identification are considered valid if they contain the voter's name and photograph and if they have not expired: If the identification does not contain the voter's signature, an additional indentification that provides the voter's signature is required.

Early voting will utilize optical scan ballots except for voters with disabilities, who will be able to vote using a touchscreen machine.
